Bookkeeper (remote or in-office)
KORE, Inc., a financial service provider to small businesses and entrepreneurs, is hiring a full-time, experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. This position offers the choice to work in-office in Battle Ground, Washington, or remotely from anywhere in the United States.

WHAT WE OFFER.
Β $28.00 Β $35.00+ per hour starting pay based on experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.
Β Manage the financial data of 10-20 small businesses.
Β Manage day-to-day accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll across multiple states.
Β Prepare monthly/quarterly excise tax returns.
Β Generate monthly and quarterly financial statements and perform cost analysis.
Β Oversee intercompany transactions and track subcontractors.
Β Conduct budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
Β Perform job costing analysis and reporting.
Β Communicate regularly with clients via phone or Zoom.
Β Oversee and audit business insurance policies.
Β Complete annual business license renewals.
Β Collaborate closely with a tax consultant to ensure accurate tax planning and preparation.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
Β A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience is required.
Β Proven experience in processing payroll from start to finish is essential.
Β Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software is a must.
Β A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is not required, but a plus.
Β Strong understanding of accounting best practices (debits/credits, AR, AP, account reconciliation, cash flow) is required.
Β Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Β Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to research, communicate, and collaborate effectively.
Β Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of client information.
Β Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Β Professionalism, strong organizational skills, and a dependable work ethic are crucial.
Β A team player who can collaborate with both the KORE team and clients to ensure clear communication of business goals.
Β Final candidates may be required to pass a thorough background check and drug test.
