Bookkeeper - Remote
Description:
Conducting bank account and credit card reconciliations.
Performing bookkeeping reviews.
Tracking and paying bills/loans.
Collecting and managing invoices.
Filing 1099 forms.
Calculating and collecting sales tax.
Handling payroll filing and reporting.
Maintaining financial transaction spreadsheets.
Submitting detailed daily reports to your supervisor.
Keeping accurate time logs for each client.
Using internal software to document completed client work.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1-3 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is compulsory.
1-3 years of bookkeeping experience with multiple small businesses.
(Bonus) Experience as an Accountant or Staff Accountant is a plus but not required.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and recordkeeping abilities.
Capacity to manage stress from deadlines and workload.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must.
Punctuality in job performance.
Abstinence from mind or mood-altering substances.
Flexibility to work varied hours.
Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
Located in the U.S. with strong English language skills.
