Short Term Rental Manager LLC is a growing property management company serving clients across the short-term rental industry. We're hiring a detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our Tempe-area team and take ownership of our trust account reconciliation process. This is a part-time role, most weeks will be under 20 hours a week, Monday through Friday, flexible within business hours. The position is hybrid with some WFH possible after training.
What you'll actually do
The core of this job is 3-way trust account reconciliation. You'll manage general ledger entries, reconcile bank and credit card accounts, process owner statements, handle AP/AR, and support TPT reporting and annual tax prep (1099s, W-2s). You'll also help set up financial systems for new properties and occasionally support a bookkeeping assistant. It's detail work. Deadline-driven. You'll need to stay organized across multiple client accounts and softwares at once.
What we're looking for
β’ Solid bookkeeping background, ideally with some real estate or property management exposure
β’ Strong QuickBooks Online skills (this is the real must-have)
β’ Experience with trust account or 3-way reconciliation
β’ Comfortable working independently in a small office environment
β’ We use Guesty and VRPlatform and can train on those platforms.
The details
β’ $23β$26/hour depending on experience
β’ Under 20 hours/week, flexible scheduling
β’ Onsite in Tempe (Hybrid)
β’ Weekly pay, paid training, PTO, sick time
