Bookkeeper (India) - Work from Home

HK Consultancy is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is crucial to the smooth financial operation of our company and offers the flexibility of working from home.
Key Responsibilities
• * Maintain and update financial records including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank statements.
• * Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• * Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
• * Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• * Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• * Communicate with vendors and clients to manage invoicing and payments.
• * Support the finance team with various accounting tasks as needed.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• * Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• * Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• * Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Tally.
• * Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• * Good organizational and time management skills.
• * Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
• * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience
• * Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
• * Experience working remotely is preferred.
• * Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards in India.
