Bookkeeper / Dispatcher - Small Service Business

Job Summary

We are seeking a hard working, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Service Dispatcher to join our small growing team.

The initial and primary task of this position will be updating the books and creating bookkeeping processes that provides accurate, up to date financial feedback to management on an ongoing basis. All applicants MUST BE VERY PROFICIENT IN QUICKBOOKS ONLINE!

You will be in charge of fielding inbound phone calls and web submissions from customers and working with them to coordinate service calls and new product estimates for 2 technicians. Also managing inventory levels both at the company warehouse and on the individual trucks of the technicians. (This will be about 50-60% of your time)

This role requires strong organizational skills, focus to stay self motivated and on task and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, management and service personnel.

Duties
• Coordinate and schedule service calls based on customer requests and technician availability.
• Communicate with customers to provide updates on service status and estimated arrival times.
• Monitoring technician truck stock and ordering products to replenish
• Perform double-entry bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate general ledger accounting
• Utilizing Quickbooks Online to prepare and present financial reports to management and assist in financial planning

Requirements
• SELF PROFICIENT IN QUICKBOOKS ONLINE IS A MUST
• APPLICANT MUST LIVE WITHIN THE PHOENIX METRO AREA AND BE WILLING TO TRAVEL DURING TRAINING
• Familiarity with debits, credits, and general ledger accounting principles
• Proficient in financial report creation and comprehension
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• NO DISPATCH EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - I will train the right skilled bookkeeper on this part of the job

Training for this position will require travel for a few weeks. I will provide a laptop computer and compensate for high speed internet at your home.
