Bookkeeper
Description The Bookkeeper supports ReVision Energy program s by maintaining accurate , complete, and timely financial records for the multiple using QuickBooks Online. This role is responsible for day- to- day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and support for month end close. The role ensures that financial data is organized, accurate , and compliant with applicable accounting requirements, supporting the ongoing administration and scalability of program s . Key Responsibilities · Maintain the general ledger in QuickBooks Online, ensuring accurate coding and supporting documentation. · Process accounts payable (AP): enter bills, manage approvals as applicable, schedule payments, and vendor communications. · Process accounts receivable (AR): create invoices, apply customer payments, and follow up on past-due balances. · Perform bank reconciliations on a regular cadence; investigate and resolve discrepancies. · Support month-end close by preparing journal entries, schedules, and account analyses. · Maintain organized digital records (invoices, receipts, W-9s, statements) and support audit/tax preparation. · Prepare and distribute routine financial reports (e.g., P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) as requested. · Assist with sales tax and other filings by gathering data and maintaining schedules (as applicable). · Assist with sales tax and other filings by gathering data and maintaining schedules (as applicable). · Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes, strengthen controls, and ensure timely, accurate data. Requirements Required Qualifications · 2–3 years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) used in a business setting. · Working knowledge of bookkeeping fundamentals (debits/credits, chart of accounts, accrual vs. cash basis). · Experience with AP/AR processing and bank reconciliations. · Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (filters, pivot tables a plus) · Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and comfort working with confidential information. · Clear written and verbal communication skills; customer-service mindset with vendors and internal teams. Preferred Qualifications · Prior experience in a multi-entity environment.
