They are seeking a full charge Bookkeeper responsible for managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records for assigned clients.ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable and accounts receivablePerform credit card and bank reconciliationsMaintain electronic filing systemGeneral communication with vendors, clients, and client representatives via phone, email, and in-personPerform cash flow reports and cash balances as requiredAssist in assembling information for year-end tax packages for accountantsProvide some assistance on insurance questionsIdentify, trace, and correct errorsPrepare/review 1099 reportsPrepare journal entriesAssist in the preparation and processing of payroll, as well as applicable reportingPrint reports (such as financial statements) for reviewOther projects and duties as assignedSkills1+ years of bookkeeping experience in an entertainment business management firm or 2+ years of general accounting experienceHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent is requiredExcellent communication skills (in person, on the phone, and via email)Sense of urgencyKeen eye for detailsAbility to quickly shift gears without losing focusSolid interpersonal skills and other key soft skills (i.e., communication, time management, emotional intelligence, adaptability, active listening, critical-thinking, etc.)Associate's degree is preferredExperience with AgilLink software is highly preferredBenefitsAnnual bonusComprehensive benefits packageCompany OverviewFounded in 1967, Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman ("GRF") is a leading full-service business management firm for an exclusive assortment of entertainers, executives and select high net worth individuals.
