Bookkeeper

Keegan Linscott & Associates, PC is seeking a Restaurant Bookkeeper to join the team of a client. In this role, you will manage all record-keeping and accounting tasks while collaborating closely with various service providers and ensuring accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online.ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QBO for two (2) locationsReconcile bank statements through QBO bank reconciliation procedures to verify transaction accuracyHandle payroll processing with 3rd-party payroll provider (iSolved), ensuring proper payment of tax authorities and employeesRecord routine journal entries and review general ledger accounts for accuracy in QuickBooksManage accounts payable and vendor management processes, ensuring timely paymentsRun financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash register reports, and assist in budget analyses for management reviewSales tax return preparationAssist in income tax activities by maintaining proper documentation of expenses and income, supporting audit readinessSkillsProven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferredProficiency in QuickBooks Online is mandatoryExperience with payroll processing, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation proceduresExcellent organizational skills with the ability to perform 10-key and general typing efficiently for data entry tasksAbility to manage cash balancesAble to work with diverse group of professionals: kitchen staff, chefs, front-of-house workers, legal team, management, CPAsCompany OverviewKeegan Linscott & Associates, PC is a full service, nationally affiliated public accounting firm located in Tucson, Arizona.
