Book Editor for my KDP books
I have written an AI-generated nonfiction book to needs to be edited. I would like an editor to perform the following task:
-Ensure the manuscript has a clear, logical flow.
-Identify gaps, redundancies, or inconsistencies in the content.
-Check/Improve chapter transitions
-Ensure the AI-generated text sounds natural and engaging
-Adjust word choice for better impact and flow
-correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
-remove redundant phrases or excessive formalities often found in AI writing
-Adjust AI-generate content to better reflect your unique writing style
-Proofreading (final polish)
I would like to be provided the final copy as well as a copy with what changes have been made. I am attaching a sample for you to edit and return to me so I can make my decision on which editor candidate will be the best fit. Please let me know if you are also willing to format this book for me and I will send those details. I would like this job to be a fixed price with milestones paid as the work is completed. I am looking for an editor who is willing to work with me on a consistent basis (a couple of books a month). I have attached the editing test below.
