As a Board Member, you will collaborate with fellow leaders to shape policies, oversee organizational growth, and ensure the delivery of impactful programs that serve individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. Duties
• Provide strategic oversight and governance to advance the organization’s mission and vision
• Participate actively in board meetings, committees, and organizational planning sessions
• Support program development efforts by offering insights on service delivery and community needs
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, families, partners, and funders
• Assist in financial oversight by reviewing budgets, financial reports, and ensuring fiscal responsibility
• Advocate for the organization’s mission within the community to raise awareness and support
• Supervise organizational initiatives related to management, program management, and behavioral health services

Experience
• Proven management experience with a background in program development or organizational leadership
• Hands-on experience working with at - risk youth and their fami
• Strong relationship management skills to build trust with diverse stakeholders
• Administrative experience including budgeting, policy development, or compliance oversight
• Supervising experience in social work or related fields is highly desirable
• Knowledge of program management principles and best practices in nonprofit settings
• Familiarity with behavioral health services and social work practices enhances your impact as a board member
