Dane Street is looking for highly qualified professionals to join our esteemed physician panel! This is a remote opportunity that allows you to earn supplemental income on a flexible schedule. We offer independent contract positions (1099) where compensation is provided on a per-case basis. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified in Oncology and possess an active medical license. Requirements JOB SUMMARY As a Physician Advisor for Disability Peer Review within the scope of Oncology, you will leverage your expertise to review oncology-related cases and provide authoritative guidance on medical necessity and claims processing. The Physician Reviewer will ensure that all evaluations meet client-specific policies and are aligned with recognized standards of oncology care. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct detailed reviews of medical records pertaining to oncology cases to respond to client inquiries, employing suitable criteria and guidelines. Produce clear and concise determinations with robust documentation to support your findings. Utilize the latest medical standards, evidence-based resources, and peer-reviewed literature to guide sound clinical decisions. Provide prompt and thorough reports that include relevant criteria utilized during the evaluation. Adhere to defined deadlines for case completion and submission. Engage in follow-up communication as necessary, tailored to the needs of specific cases. Maintain all required licensure and certification to ensure the effectiveness of performance. Participate in mandatory training, orientation, and quality assurance programs. Get involved in audits or additional reviews as necessary to ensure compliance and quality assurance. Board Certification in Oncology and active clinical practice is required for this role.
