HMSA is seeking a BlueCard Business Analyst I to support their operations. The role involves analyzing claims inventory reports, facilitating system projects, and assisting with project implementations while ensuring effective communication and documentation.ResponsibilitiesMonitor daily production performance and inventory levels as assignedConduct data and trend analysis to identify areas of improvementsTriage daily production issuesRecommend and implement interim workaroundsRecommend solutions and/or corrective actions for issues that are brought to the attention of the unitCreate and update operational workflows and documentationProcess Access Management requestsAssist with auditsSupport production activities as assignedAssist on production changes/fixes and small project implementations: Support testing activities to include writing requirements-based test scenarios and test cases, generate test data, execute test cases and review results for approval to productionAssist on medium and large project implementations as assigned: Develop training material and conduct training and presentationsAssist with testing and testing activitiesPerforms all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned or directedSkillsBachelor's degree and one year related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related work experienceEffective analytical skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsExperience in developing reference and training documentationBasic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook/EmailCompany OverviewHMSA is an insurance company that provides affordable health plans, employee benefits services and worksite wellness programs.
