We are currently hiring a Biostatistician I to join our team! As a Biostatistician at Rho, you will have the opportunity to participate in multiple clinical trial project teams. Communicating statistical issues as they arise to Rho team members as well as maintaining a steady, open dialogue with study team members regarding study execution as it relates to timelines, data quality, and interpretation of the results. Responsibilities Under the direction of a lead biostatistician, you will: • Develop, test, maintain, and archive SAS program code to conduct planned and exploratory statistical analysis of clinical data • Interpret the results using written, oral, and graphic methods, as appropriate, either in a statistical report or as part of a clinical trial report • Prepare analysis plans and specifications for analysis data sets and data displays (tables, listings, & graphs) • Collaborate with statistical programming team on the production of datasets and displays • Identify and troubleshoot missing, miscoded, or incomplete data and work with clinical team to resolve issues • May perform sample size computations in conjunction with clinical staff to determine the appropriate number of subjects necessary for the investigation, taking into consideration the interpretability of the results from a statistical and clinical perspective as well as applicable regulatory requirements • May develop and/or validate randomization schemes for clinical trials Requirements • Master's degree in biostatistics or statistics along with up to 2 years of experience working in a CRO in the pharma/biotech industry • Good understanding of basic statistical procedures and methodology is required along with strong SAS programming skills • Strong Communicator: Demonstrate written, verbal and presentation skills to help showcase the successes of your work and Rho’s. • Committed to Quality: Every job at Rho requires an attention to detail, a deep understanding of our high-quality scientific standards, and an ability to care about every outcome. • High-Character: Contribute to our collaborative culture with honesty and integrity. As required by pay transparency laws in some states, Rho provides the range of starting compensation (annual salary or hourly rate) it reasonably expects to pay for a given role. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to role responsibilities and location as well as candidate skill set and level of experience.
