Biostatistician
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Biostatistician to join our remote Special Investigations Unit (SIU) team . This role involves applying advanced statistical methods and data analysis techniques to support Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) investigations involving healthcare providers and their submission of claims to health insurance payors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics, RAT-STATS and healthcare claims data. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of FWA Duties • Develop and implement statistically valid random samples (SVRS) for FWA investigations, using RAT-STATS software • Perform data mining and exploratory data analysis plan data analytic tools • Collaborate with SIU investigators, auditors and analysts teams to identify potential investigative leads • Conduct data visualization to communicate findings effectively to multidisciplinary teams. Skills • Proficiency in statistics, data modeling, SVRS identification, and statistical methodologies for healthcare FWA • Familiarity with healthcare claims data, CPT and HCPCS data • Ability to visualize complex datasets using advanced data visualization tools.
