Bioinformatics Analyst- Computational Genomics

Job Summary:

The Data Analyst II will support computational research and data-driven discovery efforts within immunology and genomic sciences. This role focuses on integrating and analyzing complex genomic and multi-omic datasets to advance understanding of disease biology. The position collaborates closely with cross-functional scientific teams to deliver high-impact insights that support discovery and translational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

β€’ Perform quality control, annotation, and integration of bulk transcriptomics, single-cell omics, and spatial transcriptomics datasets

β€’ Conduct downstream statistical and computational analyses to support immunology and liver disease research

β€’ Develop, maintain, and document robust and reusable analysis pipelines

β€’ Apply best practices and emerging tools in single-cell and multi-omic data analysis

β€’ Interpret results and clearly communicate findings to scientific and cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications:

β€’ Master’s degree with relevant experience in data analysis or a Doctoral degree with early-career experience in a related field

β€’ Hands-on experience with genomic and multi-omic data analysis, including single-cell and bulk RNA sequencing

β€’ Proficiency in Python and or R within Linux-based environments

β€’ Experience with workflow management tools and version control systems

β€’ Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

β€’ Experience with spatial transcriptomics data analysis

β€’ Background in immunology or fibrotic diseases

β€’ Familiarity with liver biology or metabolic-associated liver disease research

Pay Range: $40/hr to $45/hr
