Bioinformatics Analyst- Computational Genomics
Job Summary:
The Data Analyst II will support computational research and data-driven discovery efforts within immunology and genomic sciences. This role focuses on integrating and analyzing complex genomic and multi-omic datasets to advance understanding of disease biology. The position collaborates closely with cross-functional scientific teams to deliver high-impact insights that support discovery and translational programs.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Perform quality control, annotation, and integration of bulk transcriptomics, single-cell omics, and spatial transcriptomics datasets
β’ Conduct downstream statistical and computational analyses to support immunology and liver disease research
β’ Develop, maintain, and document robust and reusable analysis pipelines
β’ Apply best practices and emerging tools in single-cell and multi-omic data analysis
β’ Interpret results and clearly communicate findings to scientific and cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications:
β’ Masterβs degree with relevant experience in data analysis or a Doctoral degree with early-career experience in a related field
β’ Hands-on experience with genomic and multi-omic data analysis, including single-cell and bulk RNA sequencing
β’ Proficiency in Python and or R within Linux-based environments
β’ Experience with workflow management tools and version control systems
β’ Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience with spatial transcriptomics data analysis
β’ Background in immunology or fibrotic diseases
β’ Familiarity with liver biology or metabolic-associated liver disease research
