What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Generate accurate and timely invoices for multiple contract projects with government clients
- Review and analyze contract agreements, bill codes, cost variables, and other documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies and address client inquiries
- Maintain detailed records of billing activities using designated accounting software
- Monitor and reconcile billing reports to identify discrepancies and errors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or financial analysis
- Familiarity with government contract billing processes and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint 8 and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience within a federal contracting firm or similar industry
- Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently
