Billing Data Entry Specialist
Job Title: Temporary Billing & Data Processing Specialist Location: Remote Duration: 6–12 months (contract) Schedule & Pay • First week of each month: ~40 hours • Remaining weeks: 10–20 hours/week • Pay: $20–$25/hour, based on experience Overview We are seeking a detail-driven specialist to assist with billing and data processing tasks. This role focuses on organizing large data sets, performing advanced Excel functions, and supporting monthly billing workflows. The ideal candidate is analytical, accurate, and comfortable working independently. Responsibilities • Gather and organize data from multiple sources. • Perform advanced Excel tasks (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas). • Review and reconcile billing data for accuracy. • Process invoices and support monthly billing cycles. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing questions. • Assist with basic reporting and data analysis. Qualifications • High school diploma required; business/accounting coursework preferred. • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced formulas). • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability. • Prior billing or data processing experience is helpful. • Strong communication and organizational skills.
