Billing Administrator

The Billing Administrator is responsible for handling all premium and billing aspects for group clients, including preparing billing statements, managing client inquiries, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities Prepare monthly billing statements using Microsoft Excel and the Group Billing System (GBS) Handling daily inquiries from Clients, Group Sales office and other Canada Life departments Allocate and code payments accurately on Policy Administration System (PAS) and Systems Applications and Products (SAP) Handle all Group Client arrears Maintain fees on the ASO system and process amendments, which have a direct impact on the client bill Calculate retroactive fees and taxes Prepare policy year-end refund audits within the service target date Skills Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle pressures of deadlines, fluctuating workloads, and changing priorities Strong mathematical aptitude High attention to detail and accuracy required Well-developed analytical/problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Well-developed skills using Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to excel within a Purpose/Vision driven environment You are comfortable with technology, using multiple computer and business programs Reliability Status Security Clearance – this can only be completed with candidates who receive an offer of employment Knowledge of Group Insurance products and TOCS system would be considered an asset Bilingual fluency (English & French) would be considered an asset Benefits Career Development: Opportunities for career advancement, access to industry-leading learning programs and up to $2,000 annually towards education reimbursement.
