The role involves developing comprehensive documentation, creating training materials, and collaborating with various departments to enhance learning experiences across multiple platforms.ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standardsDevelop training material both written and video for end-usersAbility to develop process steps and scripts for video content creation, including periodic maintenance for policy/process changesWrite user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for successEvaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvementResearch, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirementsIndependently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentationWork with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storageDevelop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentationIdentifying knowledge gaps and updating support materialsExperience testing technical and business processesCollaborate with subject matter experts who provide the knowledge transfer to ensure appropriate course content and learner applicationDevelop brand standards and maintain continuity of style of contentAnalyzing metrics to determine whether there is a learning need and define performance objectivesAbility to work effectively and collegially with multiple teamsSkillsMust be Bilingual in both English / FrenchBachelor's degree (or equivalent formal training) in instructional design, education, and/or a related training field1-2 years' industry related experience in the Investment Brokerage or Financial Services industry as a technical writer. With a portfolio to shareE-learning design/development and experience with e-learning tools (ex.
