About the position

The Bilingual Part Time RN at Evernorth is responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services in a clinic setting. This role involves assisting healthcare providers with patient evaluations, managing care plans, and ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team. The RN will also perform clinical tasks such as patient assessments, triaging calls, and maintaining clinic operations, all while providing empathetic and quality care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities
• Conduct patient assessment and obtain patient history.
,
• Assist in the development of care plans and coordination of care.
,
• Support clinicians in managing complex healthcare needs of patients.
,
• Lead and support back and front office staff regarding patient concerns or center needs.
,
• Assist in implementing provider orders and follow-up, including medication refills and patient education.
,
• Triage patient calls and concerns, and schedule appointments as applicable.
,
• Communicate effectively with providers to resolve issues.
,
• Set up patients for procedures and exams, and obtain vital signs.
,
• Utilize phlebotomy skills for blood draws.
,
• Ensure day-to-day operations in the clinic and manage healthcare needs of patients.
,
• Document care and information provided to patients accurately.
,
• Maintain supplies in the exam room.
,
• Perform additional responsibilities in alignment with certification or licensure.

Requirements
• Graduate of an approved RN program.
,
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the respective state.
,
• At least one year of experience in a primary care clinic or provider office.
,
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
,
• Phlebotomy skills are necessary.
,
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
,
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
,
• Team-oriented with strong time management skills.
,
• Responsible, reliable, and possess a dynamic personality.
,
• Ability to work health center hours.
,
• Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
