Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant / Receptionist
Remote | Endocrinology Clinic | Part-Time | 30 Hours/Week | $9/hour
We are hiring a Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant / Receptionist to support a growing endocrinology clinic serving both English- and Spanish-speaking patients.
This role is best suited for someone who is confident in a fast-paced medical setting, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to provide strong support across both clinical documentation and patient-facing coordination. You will work closely with the provider and clinic team to help keep daily operations accurate, responsive, and well-managed.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Provide live medical scribing support during telemedicine visits
β’ Prepare and update patient charts for provider review
β’ Review labs, medications, notes, and relevant history before appointments
β’ Enter clinical details into the EMR accurately and efficiently
β’ Support lab orders, referrals, and prior authorizations
β’ Provide bilingual English-Spanish support, including real-time patient communication when needed
β’ Assist with scheduling, coordination, and follow-up workflows
β’ Handle an average of 40 calls per day when not actively scribing
β’ Provide backup phone and administrative support as needed
β’ Maintain professionalism, strong documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance at all times
Qualifications
β’ Fluent in English and Spanish
β’ At least 6 months of medical scribe experience
β’ Comfortable supporting live telemedicine visits
β’ Able to manage a high-volume phone workflow
β’ Willing to handle prior authorizations
β’ Strong understanding of medical terminology, charting, and patient coordination
β’ Highly organized, dependable, and able to adapt quickly to established workflows
Preferred Experience
β’ Medical Virtual Assistant, Medical Scribe, or healthcare admin support experience
β’ Live scribing experience
β’ EMR documentation, chart prep, referrals, and insurance workflows
β’ Familiarity with Tebra/Kareo, Epic, RingCentral, or similar systems
β’ Endocrinology or specialty clinic experience is a plus
Schedule
β’ Part-time, 30 hours per week
β’ Typically Monday to Thursday
β’ Schedule may vary slightly based on clinic needs
