Key Responsibilities:
Tutor students virtually in a 1:1 to 1:3 setting, providing high-quality support in math and/or Algebra I
Complete curriculum reviews for lesson content and use provided materials in sessions
Build strong relationships with students, supporting their learning and understanding of math concepts
Review and provide feedback on student progress, as needed
Participate in virtual tutoring sessions, using online tools and technology
Requirements and Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
Relevant experience working with school-age learners in some capacity
Ability to effectively tutor math in both Spanish and English
Confident knowledge of at least one of the following: algebra I, algebra II, geometry, or pre-algebra
Ability to instruct and engage students with clear communication and interpersonal skills
High comfort level with online virtual tools and technology
Desktop or Laptop using the Chrome browser, a video camera, and a reliable/stable internet connection
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, mathematics)
1+ years of experience working with students in a tutoring or teaching capacity
Experience with Google platforms and tools
Skills and Competencies:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
Strong knowledge of math concepts and curriculum
