Bilingual Insurance Customer Service Representative

Job Summary
• Provides customer service and resolves issues by offering solutions, explanations and options.
• Sell various types of insurance policies to businesses and individuals on behalf of insurance companies.

General Accountabilities
• Provides customers' information about products or services.
• Ensures full customer satisfaction and maintains a friendly, helpful demeanor.
• Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled (Underwriting), including necessary medical statements, inspections forms, and the completion of appropriate forms, Photographs.
• Customize insurance programs to suit individual customers often covering a variety of risks.
• Analyze client's current insurance policies and suggest additions or changes.
• Identifies and prioritizes problems and issues related to service area.
• Maintains close contact with customer to give updates on progress toward resolution of issue or service request.
• Ensures that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.
• Refers unresolved customer issues to designated departments for further investigation, including contacting underwriting departments.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and handling policy renewals.
• Processes applications, releases, cancellations, adjustments, changes, requests, fees, invoices and other related paperwork.
• Keeps records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
• Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking.
• Call potential clients to expand customer base.
• Attend meetings, webinars to learn about new products and services, new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts.
• Clean your workstation, common areas, and floors at least once a week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
