Job Title Big Data Technical Lead Relevant Experience (in Yrs) 12+ years Technical/Functional Skills Experience Required • Be the onsite Point of Contact, will be responsible for interacting with Client leadership/teams. The technical lead will also interact/co-ordinate with the offshore team on a day-day basis. • Along with the offshore Delivery manager provide governance regarding project progress and technical issues. • Review of technical specifications describing architectural enhancements and significant functional changes • Clear understanding of distributed computing, especially in databases • Experience with open-source technologies (Spark, Impala) • Analyze/debug analytic processes, working on Bigdata and Distributed Environment • Provide strong technical expertise (coding standards, performance, application design, scalability, and maintenance aspects) • Prioritize critical tasks and conflicting requirements with a high attention to detail. • Conducting detailed assessments to make the right decisions. • Work closely with the Project Managers on the planning and execution of program development activities Roles & Responsibilities Generic Managerial Skills Very strong client facing skills and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and drive governance. Will also work with offshore team, so flexibility will be required This role will ensure they are working with customers on technical aspects and working with the offshore team to drive the deliverables.
