BI - Strategy Developer

We’re currently looking for a MicroStrategy Developer with strong technical expertise to join our team and contribute both to development and cloud migration initiatives.
Location: Colombia / Peru (Remote)
Responsibilities
• Build dashboards and analytical solutions using MicroStrategy
• Design and develop ETL processes using SSIS (Visual Studio)
• Participate in MicroStrategy platform migration and modernization projects (On-Premise to Cloud)
• Work on data integration using SQL Server, Azure, and other data sources
• Contribute to the design of MicroStrategy architectures tailored to different business needs
• Manage the platform using tools such as Workstation, Developer, Object Manager, and Library
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in both MicroStrategy and databases
• Optimize performance and processes in SSIS and SQL Server
• Develop scripts and automations (e.g., using Python)
Must-have requirements
• Strong hands-on experience with MicroStrategy (development and administration)
• Experience building dashboards / Dossiers
• Solid ETL experience using SSIS (Visual Studio)
• Experience working with SQL Server
• Experience in data integration and ETL automation
• Experience participating in migration projects (ideally cloud-based)
• Experience managing or installing MicroStrategy on-premise environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate to advanced English level (must be able to hold conversations in English)
Nice to have
• Experience migrating MicroStrategy to the Cloud
• Knowledge of or experience with Azure
• Background in BI / Data Warehouse architecture
• Experience with MicroStrategy tools (Workstation, Object Manager, Library, etc.)
• Python knowledge for automation
• Experience optimizing SSIS processes and databases
