You’ll be surrounded by an open, collaborative culture that embraces diversity, recognition, professional development and, most importantly, you.Are you ready to make your impact?About the RoleThe BI Data Warehouse Architect is responsible for designing and maintaining the overall lifecycle, infrastructure and related services for Data Warehouse and BI solutions within a 24x7 environment utilized for key reporting, decision support, and analysis. This role’s core responsibilities will include managing Azure Data Factory pipelines, Data Lake storage, Databricks processing and the overall health of the Data Warehouse and BI implementations while monitoring cost as well as compliance related to global data governance regulations.What You'll Do

Design, build, and support Azure data warehouse pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
Design and construct Data Lake ingestion and staging of data sources for analytics purposes
Provide best practices and guidance regarding use of ELT/ETL, data modeling, and reporting deliverables
Work with technology and business users to define and document data requirements for new and existing data feeds
Create ad-hoc and enterprise Power BI Solutions with Power BI Desktop/Service, Power Query, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) language, data modeling, visualizations, and dashboards
Actively review and improve Azure data warehouse code and pipelines
Utilize Azure DevOps for source code management, feature/functionality documentation, task management, and bug/issue tracking/reporting
Create logging and monitoring of new and existing pipelines
Develop cost controls and IT governance utilities around operational tasks
Collaborate with other IT infrastructure and development teams
Help enforce systems engineering and DevOps standards and best practices
Partner with key stakeholders in Project Management, Engineering, Development and QA to ensure high quality delivery of software projects

Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years of developing and maintaining Datawarehouse, ETL and Business Intelligence solutions
3+ years of provisioning, configuring, developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions in Azure Data Lake, Data Factory and Databricks
Ability to work an on-call support schedule if/when needed
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline
Experience with Azure SQL, SQL Server, MySQL, Elasticsearch
Experience with Spark SQL and Python scripting within Azure Databricks
Experience creating reporting and data visualization solutions with Power BI
Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) services
Experience working with APIs to develop custom application integrations
Adept with source control methods and technologies
Experience working within an Agile SDLC methodology and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Experience with dimensional modeling as well as working knowledge of relational database design, logical data modeling and relational database management systems
The ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with a strong sense of urgency under minimal supervision
Experience defining and documenting requirements for data extraction
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and other teams
Azure, Databricks, and/or Microsoft certifications
