The Benefits Platform Coordinator supports the internal Employee Benefits team by coordinating client-facing technology solutions and maintaining client portals.ResponsibilitiesSupport North Risk's ENET team and internal Employee Benefits team for existing and future client benefit platform enrollments, including but not limited to:Building benefit portals for new clientsUpdating and maintaining forms for compliance and consistencyUpdating and maintaining plan rates for various carriersInitiating and updating client information based on renewal dataProcessing updates and client change requestsIntiaiting and updating data integration feeds to carrier and vendor partnersMaintain regular communication with platform contacts and Account Managers to ensure data accuracyAssist with training internal Employee Benefits team on platform basics for backup and assistance in client changes, or building client portals as neededWork with new clients on utilization of platforms and programsPerform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by managementSkillsA combination of education and experience generally attained through a high school degree, bachelor's degree, and work experience in insurance or another service industryWorking knowledge of standard technology, including core Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint requiredDemonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate it to the end user effectivelyAbility to work independently and on a team both in-person and virtuallyAbility to obtain & maintain a life and health insurance license within 6 months of hireA role model for North Risk Partners' core values, mission, and desired cultureDemonstrate enthusiasm and a positive attitudeProfessionally and positively represent North Risk Partners to all coworkers, clients, and external stakeholdersA team player who collaborates and works well with his/her coworkersA professional who demonstrates the ability to carry on a conversation with clients, Risk Advisors, and other coworkers within North Risk PartnersPerform under normal office conditions; may include lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 25 poundsTwist, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, stand, walk, and reach frequentlyHear, speak, and effectively verbally communicate in the English language, including following oral and written instructions to communicate with people inside and outside of the organizationSit and a desk for extended periods of time and perform long hours of work sitting at a computerMove around office/building/facilities repeatedly throughout the dayApply manual dexterity, visual acuity and ability, for computer keyboarding, office equipment uses, review of detailed reports, information, fine print, and warning labelsMust possess valid driver's license and be able to travel to different North Risk Partners locations for meetings, as well as various locations throughout the state and potentially the region for client meetingsAble to work a flexible work schedule, including overtime, nights, and weekends to attend events and meetings as neededBenefitsHealthDentalVisionShort-term and long-term disabilityLifeLong-term care401(k) planContinuing professional education and developmentVolunteer time offPaid time offPaid holidaysHybrid work opportunitiesCompany OverviewNorth Risk Partners is an insurance company offering liability and worker's comp solutions.
