What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop sophisticated benefit design and renewal strategies to address complex client issues
- Collaborate with account management on pre-renewal strategy, RFP distribution, and post-renewal analysis
- Maintain accountability for revenue and profitability of client accounts and projects
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers
- Ensure client service teams exceed client expectations and monitor project success
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of benefits consulting experience
- Valid life and health insurance license
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Up-to-date knowledge on Health Care Reform and health insurance products
- Practical knowledge of the quoting process and tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with database applications
