Learn more at www.verint.com.Overview of Job Function:The Benefits Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day initiatives of all annual projects including, but not limited to, audits, system implementations, state and federal benefits-related filings, integration of employees for acquisition, open enrollment and maintaining and updating employee benefit resources. This individual will liaise with our brokers and vendors as needed to address any issues or concerns and serve as a resource to employees on all benefits matters. Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:Provide customer service support to internal customers. Ensure communication tools are updated and accurate and serve to enhance understanding of the companyβs benefits packageResponsible for partnering with benefits administration provider to ensure system integrity and address any issues timelyTake a lead role on the annual Open Enrollment Process, including: oversight of all activity relating to the benefits administration system, working with vendors and brokers to update plan documents, prepare employee communications, identify and follow up on system updates & testing, host open enrollment webinars and respond to employee questionsEnsure timely reporting of all federal and state compliance filings (including CMS, WSIB Annual Declaration, WAPAL, etc.)Monitor, track and effectively respond to escalations regarding benefit programs or claims issuesConduct audits on benefit enrollments and employee deductions as needed to ensure accuracyAudit, review and process all benefit invoicesAssist with diligence on benefit programs for acquisitionsOversee and support employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefitsAudit benefits data, costs, and utilization to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changesDraft, educate and communicate benefit information to employees through various channels, such as open enrollment events, workshops, and online resources Work with vendors and consultants to ensure efficient and effective benefit program deliveryProvide excellent customer service to employees, managers, and other stakeholders regarding benefits inquiriesMinimum Requirements:Bachelor Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience Minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources, with at least three years in benefits administrationKnowledge of relevant federal and state regulations affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, and Department of LaborStrong aptitude for learning new systems and applicationsDemonstrated experience in vendor relationshipsAbility to demonstrate confidentiality and judgementAbility to remain flexible and effective in a demanding, fast-paced environmentAbility to take initiative, multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines and work well under pressureStrong analytical skills with a basic understanding of benefit plan designsStrong problem-solving skills with ability to apply resolutionsStrong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environmentStrong attention to detail and excellent customer service requiredProficient in Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint, Vizio and Excel)Working knowledge of Oracle preferredSuccessful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulationsMIN: $73KMAX: $88KOriginally posted on Himalayas
