This opportunity will provide comprehensive behavioral health for the common conditions seen in primary care such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders in an extended virtual primary care collaborative model via teletherapy.Founded in 2006, PM Pediatrics is the nation’s largest pediatric urgent care provider as well as a national telehealth company expanding services to meet all of the physical, behavioral, and psychosocial needs of children.**For Full Time, the pay range for this position is $80k-$85k + medical benefits + PTO** (compensation dependent on licensure & experience)**Flexible Schedule: sometime in the following ranges: 5 days 1:00pm-9:00pm M-F or 9:00am-3:00pm on Saturdays; or 4 10 hour days, 2 days 11:00am - 9:00pm, 2 days 8:00am - 6:00pm**Full Time and Part Time positions available!! Part Time positions (20 hours/week) are also benefits eligible!DescriptionPerform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence based practicesProviding counseling and therapy for patients using evidence based treatment modalitiesDisplay competency as an individual, family, and group therapistMaintain own professional development as required by licensing boardComplete required documentation and paperwork, including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely mannerWorks closely with patient and family and team to overcome obstacles in treatmentMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresDemonstrates cultural competency and commitmentRespond quickly to an urgent or emergent needMaintain a caseload of 15-20 patients weekly and a minimum of 5 patients dailyMaster’s Degree in Social Work is requiredQualifying social work experience for licensure consists of a minimum of 3000 hours of post Master’s social workMUST have experience with pediatric and adolescent patientsQualificationsLicensed Mental Health Counselor licensure required in the state practicing. (NY license!!)Knowledge of medical terminology.Understanding the roles of the healthcare team.Exceptional interpersonal skills.Deep understanding the psychosocial aspects of illness and health.Experience of community facilities and resources for discharge planning.Superb written and verbal communication skills.Strong crisis intervention skills.Excellent short-term counseling skills.Compensation: Compensation Dependent Upon Location and ExperienceThe salary/rate range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary/rate for this role.
