Responsibilities Summary: Oversees the development and scalable implementation of enterprise-wide operational performance management procedures and strategies that support organizational goals and initiatives including operational, clinical, and financial impacts of performance metrics. Serve as the National Operational Behavioral Health service line leader for markets and ministries in support of company-wide standardization initiatives. Directs the strategic plans to deliver exceptional service in support of the organization's operational objectives. Development of high level delivery of care practices and other operational and financial improvement initiatives nationally. Core Responsibilities: • Lead and own strategic initiatives for Behavioral Health that align with the national, market, and hospital operational goals, objectives, and processes. • Develop and implement strategies to develop and implement best in class clinical and operational quality of care for patients and facilitate the implementation. • Plans, organizes, conducts, and follows-up on analyses, events, programs, and initiatives which lead to the establishment of process improvement systems. • Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team consisting of Operations, Nursing, Providers, and horizontals regarding problem identification, resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/performance measures. • Provide strategic direction on operational needs to market leadership • Communicates with facility executives and department managers to continually improve quality, throughput, and efficiency results and secure the most cost-effective resources to meet those needs. • Maintain associated infrastructure to ensure operational and business continuity as well as to guarantee accuracy and timeliness of data flow, collaboration with business analysts who support the systems. • Compile and analyze quality and efficiency data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Use data to make informed recommendations to leadership. • Follow and promote Ascension standard processes and tools to ensure consistency across the organization. • Support training and development initiatives for market and ministry leaders and associates to promote subject matter literacy and improve patient outcomes management. • Partner with market and facility leadership routinely to establish leading practices, growth opportunities, and annual budget process and implement productivity changes as needed. • Perform other duties and projects as assigned and as needed. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: • None Required. Education: • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
