Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner Needed in Atlanta, GA
We are seeking Licensed Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to join our compassionate and mission-driven team at a leading FQHC in Atlanta. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder services to a diverse community.
Job Responsibilities:
ā¢ Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans
ā¢ Provide medication management and ongoing therapeutic care
ā¢ Collaborate with integrated care teams, including primary care and social services
ā¢ Support individuals with co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance use)
ā¢ Ensure culturally competent, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care
Qualifications:
ā¢ Active Georgia APRN license with PMHNP certification
ā¢ DEA license and prescriptive authority in Georgia
ā¢ Experience in community mental health or integrated care preferred
ā¢ Commitment to health equity and serving underserved populations
Working Hours:
ā¢ Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
