BCBA (REMOTE )
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and special education, with a focus on providing high-quality care to children with autism and other developmental disorders. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing effective behavioral interventions.
Duties
ā¢ Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of children with behavioral challenges.
ā¢ Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment results.
ā¢ Monitor and analyze patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
ā¢ Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to provide holistic support for each child.
ā¢ Maintain accurate medical documentation and records of patient assessments and treatment plans.
ā¢ Provide training and support to caregivers and staff on effective behavioral strategies and techniques.
ā¢ Stay current with best practices in the field of behavioral therapy and special education.
Requirements
ā¢ Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health.
ā¢ Experience working with children, particularly those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
ā¢ Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and patient care methodologies.
ā¢ Familiarity with special education practices and regulations.
ā¢ Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations effectively.
ā¢ Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
ā¢ Strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate medical documentation.
