BCBA - Parent-Implemented ABA

Remote Full-time
FronteraCare delivers life-changing autism services to children and families across New Mexico and Colorado. We provide high quality diagnostic evaluations and ABA therapy, partnering closely with parents, grandparents, foster parents, and other caregivers to create individualized care plans rooted in each child's unique strengths, needs, and family context.

Our clinicians are committed to evidence-based, compassionate care that helps children with autism thrive. We believe the best outcomes are when families are at the heart of the treatment. By combining clinical expertise with family insights, we help children build skills, gain confidence, and thrive.

Our Mission

Our mission is to expand access to exceptional diagnostic and behavioral healthcare for every child, no matter where they live or their circumstances.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is passionate about expanding access to high-quality, caregiver-mediated ABA services. This role focuses on delivering parent-implemented interventions through telehealth, equipping caregivers with the skills and confidence to support meaningful progress in their child's natural environment.

This BCBA will partner closely with families to model, coach, and reinforce evidence-based strategies in real time. The role may also contribute to innovative service delivery models, including digital tools and asynchronous supports, to enhance caregiver engagement and continuity of care.

This position is ideal for a BCBA who values a collaborative, family-centered approach, is skilled in translating clinical concepts into practical strategies, and thrives in a flexible, tech-enabled environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct behavioral and functional analytic assessments with a focus on identifying caregiver strengths, needs, and opportunities for intervention within daily routines
• Develop and oversee individualized, caregiver-mediated ABA treatment plans that prioritize functional, meaningful outcomes and natural environment teaching
• Coach, model, and provide real-time feedback to caregivers to support effective implementation of intervention strategies
• Collaborate with families to set meaningful, achievable goals and build caregiver competence and confidence in supporting their child's development
• Monitor client and caregiver progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure data-driven decision-making using caregiver-collected and session-based data
• Translate clinical concepts into clear, practical guidance that can be consistently implemented by caregivers in everyday settings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, caregiver progress, and client outcomes
• Plan for generalization, maintenance, and appropriate discharge by ensuring caregivers can independently implement key strategies
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures

General Requirements
• Strong knowledge and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision and mentorship
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a chat-based format
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and relationship-building skills
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with technology, including data systems, telehealth platforms, and digital tools
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards

Education and Experience
• Active BCBA certification
• Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with a pediatric population
• Minimum of 3 years of experience conducting functional assessments and developing and overseeing behavior intervention plans
• At least 1 year of telehealth supervision experience
