BCA/SQL Programmer
Job Description:
• Responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing data solutions within the MEDITECH analytics environment
• Building and maintaining SQL-based reports, extracts, dashboards, and reusable data structures using PostgreSQL and SQL Server tools
• Collaborating closely with analysts, operational leaders, clinical stakeholders, and technical teams
• Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
• Developing views, stored procedures, and supporting data structures within BCA reporting repositories
• Troubleshooting report logic and performance issues
Requirements:
• Strong experience with MEDITECH Business and Clinical Analytics (BCA)
• Advanced SQL development skills in PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience using DBeaver and/or SQL Server Management Studio
• Strong understanding of MEDITECH data structures and application architecture
• Ability to analyze reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Experience troubleshooting report logic, performance, and data quality issues
• Strong communication skills with both technical and operational stakeholders.
