Located at the corner of University and Mill, Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU amplifies Tempe’s revitalized downtown area and brings some of the largest conference and meeting space to the city. The hotel features 330 guest rooms, four dining outlets, a spacious pool deck, retail, and almost 36,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space along with expansive views of the ASU campus and the Tempe cityscape. Join the dynamic team at Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU, a vibrant and modern hotel in the heart of Downtown Tempe. This AAA Four Diamond-rated hotel boasts an array of culinary experiences, including Neighborhood Services, where we serve up honest food & drink in the American tradition. As a Bartender at Neighborhood Services, you will play a key role in enhancing our guests' experiences by crafting exceptional cocktails, engaging with our diverse clientele, and ensuring a memorable dining and drinking experience.
This is a full-time role requiring open availability. This role will primarily work PM shifts but may be needed for AM shifts occasionally.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, with a focus on crafting high-quality craft cocktails.
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Manage bar inventory and supplies.
• Collaborate with other team members to provide outstanding guest service.
• Stay informed about current promotions and menu items.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Proven experience as a bartender, with a strong understanding of mixology.
• Availability to work full time, including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
• Must meet the legal age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages.
