Banner Consultant, Finance
Job Description: • Collaborate with business units to understand financial operations and requirements. • Consult with clients in ways to utilize various technological tools to help improve business processes. • Configure the Banner financial module to meet business needs. • Provide expertise in using Banner to improve and automate business processes within the finance office at a college or university. • Assist in testing and implementation of financial software. • Troubleshoot issues related to system usage, configuration, and data integrity. • Provide end-user training and support documentation. • Keep abreast of industry changes and recommend system enhancements to increase efficiency. Requirements: • 5 or more years working within the Higher Education Industry. • 5 or more years of experience working with Ellucian Banner, demonstrating advanced user proficiency. • Experience implementing the Banner Finance module at a college or university. • Strong knowledge of financial operations, including general accounting, budgeting, and purchasing within the higher education industry. • Experience in a consulting capacity, focusing on enhancing business processes and demonstrated success in creating efficiency. • Ability to troubleshoot functional issues within Banner and communicate user requirements to the technical support team. • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and a proven customer service approach.
