Bank Teller
Elliott Community Federal Credit Union is looking for Tellers in Jeannette and Greensburg locations. Part-time and full-time opportunities available.
Operating hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with hours on Thursdays until 6 PM. Rotating Saturdays. An ideal candidate has flexible availability throughout the week.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience at a maximum of $20.00 per hour.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
? Receive checking and savings deposits: verify cash and endorsements, receive proper identification for cash back, and issue receipts of deposit.
? Cash checks, verify endorsement with proper identification.
? Answer basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations, and consumer privacy policies.
? Accept loan payments: verify payment amount and issue receipts.
? Buy and sell currency from the vault as necessary, ensuring teller drawer cash limits are not exceeded.
? Balance drawer daily, including periodic batching of cashed checks.
? Process cash advances, redeem U.S. Savings Bonds.
? Follow all internal and Federal laws, policies, and procedures.
? Other duties as assigned
? Previous experience is preferred
