Backup Administrator (NetBackup, Rubrik & Scripting)

Develop and implement backup and recovery policies and procedures to ensure the security and availability of client data.
Monitor and maintain backup systems, including NetBackup and Rubrik, to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
Conduct regular backups and perform regular tests to ensure data integrity and availability.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the backup systems, including scripting errors and system failures.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in backup and recovery to continuously improve and optimize systems.
Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure smooth integration and functionality of backup systems.
Train and educate team members on backup and recovery processes and procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation of backup system configurations and procedures.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity.
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on backup and recovery processes and address any concerns or issues.
