Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Backend Software Engineer specialized in Data Integration to strengthen our team. You will be responsible for integrating, preparing, and processing data from multiple sources. Your role will include the development of connectors, APIs, and queue management for high-volume data processing.QAD Process Intelligence is a division of the QAD Group specializing in Process Mining and Agentic AI. This position is part of a strategic initiative to transform data analysis and artificial intelligence for the benefit of our clients.The role is a fully remote from Spain.What you will do:Develop robust and optimized APIs in PythonEnsure real-time data ingestion and queue management (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar)Manage large-scale SQL databasesOptimize integration processes for maximum performanceContribute to the architecture of cloud-based solutions (AWS, Kubernetes)Design, develop, and maintain Airflow DAGs to orchestrate data workflowsQualificationsRequired SkillsStrong proficiency in Python and integration frameworksSolid knowledge of SQL databasesProven experience with queue management and real-time ingestionDemonstrated expertise in backend API developmentGood understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes)Experience designing and maintaining data orchestration workflows using AirflowPreferred QualificationsExperience with distributed systemsFamiliarity with monitoring and logging toolsProfileMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in data integration or a similar roleAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving and optimization skillsProficient knowledge of English language is a mustAdditional InformationAbout QAD:QAD Inc. is a leading provider of adaptive, cloud-based enterprise software and services for global manufacturing companies.
