Backend focused Full-Stack Engineer (Founding Team)
What we're looking for:
• You'll work directly with the co-founders and significantly influence the next phase of the company
• Can deconstruct tricky problems and work towards a simple solution, by yourself or collaboratively with teammates and are comfortable asking for help when you get stuck
• Enjoy being a generalist and is naturally curious and willing to take a step to learn something you don’t have experience in while building the product
• Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design
Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of working full-time as a software engineer (we are happy to waive the experience criteria if you feel you are exceptional, educational qualification is no bar)
• You've owned & built features from start to finish before
• Must haves
• Built and maintained REST APIs and NoSQL databases in different environments
• Worked with NextJS for UIs, routing and state management
• Worked with Container orchestration and Serverless architectures in AWS/Azure/GCP
• Worked with FastAPI apps and OpenTelemetry for observability
• Familiar with Git Actions, Docker and OAuth2 for authentication and authorization
• Nice to haves
• Built and maintained asyncio and multithreaded apps in python
• Debugging performance bottlenecks using profilers
• Worked with telecommunication protocols such as SIP and WebRTC
• Built AI agents to automate common dev workflows
