Backend Engineer (Python / Java / AWS / GCP)

Who We're Looking For We’re looking for a Backend Engineer with strong fundamentals in building scalable, reliable systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on APIs, integrations, and service orchestration while improving system performance and stability. Primary Responsibilities Design and implement backend services using Python and/or Java Build and maintain APIs and service orchestration layers Work with PostgreSQL and optimize database performance Integrate with external systems and third-party services Improve system scalability, reliability, and performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions Participate in testing, monitoring, and CI/CD processes Some Must-Haves: 5+ years of backend engineering experience Strong experience with Python and/or Java Experience building APIs and distributed systems Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL Experience with AWS or GCP Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a consulting environment Where We're Looking For It: Latin America Open to 100% Fully Remote Other Information The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.
