Client: State of MS Job ID: 154561 Job Title: Engineer - Azure Engineer - MS - MDEK12 Job Location: Jackson, MS Duration: At least 5 Years from projected start date 100% Remote Scoring Method - Must equal 100% • Cost - 30 • Required Skills/Experience - 25 • Preferred Skills/Experience - 10 • Candidate Interview - 35 Position Description and Job Skill Set • This position requires a qualified Azure Engineer with at least 7 years' experience in the following areas. • Implementation of a landing zone architecture through TerraForm to manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security • Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement • improvements • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) leveraging TerraForm to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments • Deploying IaC utilizing Azure DevOps pipelines • Manage security and access controls of cloud-based solutions • Automate processes and infrastructure lifecycle management. Required Skills/Experience • Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration, and optimization • Experience deploying IaC with Azure DevOps • Experience in IaC development with Terraform Proficient with GIT to perform source code management • Enthusiastic learner with the ability to teach and mentor teammates and cross functional partners • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail Preferred/Not Required • Strong foundational knowledge of the Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure • Demonstrate an understanding of security concepts including governance and access control.
