Azure Engineer
12-month contract open to extension/conversion. Need legitimate unicorn Sr candidate - MUST have Azure service implementation experience. USC/Greencard only. REMOTE ā EST HOURS 12-month contract (likely to extend/convert to full-time)
Some of the roles specific day-to-day operations include but are not limited to:
ā¢ Working on Landing Zone components of client facing application (CFA) squad
ā¢ Creating automation code through Terraform, Golang, PowerShell, Azure CLI,.Net SDK
ā¢ Working on Azure services, such as:
ā¢ Vnet, Network Security Group, User Defined Routing, Firewall changes, Private links etc.
ā¢ API Management, Application gateway, App service environment, App services, Storage accounts, Key vaults, Azure Data factories etc.
ā¢ Azure policies, Azure Active Directory, Identity And Access Management etc.
ā¢ On-premises to cloud configurations
ā¢ Working with third party tool such as Splunk, Spring cloud gateway, Akamai, F5 will be a great plus
ā¢ Establish security guardrails around Infrastructure, Platform, as well as Software services of Azure
ā¢ Working with customer security teams to recommend & implement best practices for the clous services being used by the business teams
ā¢ Working with Azure DevOps pipeline and repositories - YAML based pipeline configuration and best practices
ā¢ Review internal customer/business unit use case requirements and able to provide consulting on onboarding them to Azure
ā¢ Work with Microsoft support as needed
Job Requirements:
ā¢ 3-5yr minimal on relevant Azure experiences. experiences in deploying Azure landing zone
ā¢ Preferred Azure Services experiences:
ā¢ App Service Environment, App Service, API Manager (APIM), Azure Key Vault (AKV), Storage Account, Azure Function, App Gateway, AzureSQL, Other cloud data service:
ā¢ Snowflake, DataBricks, Kafka/Confluent, MongoDB. CICD pipeline: must have 3+yrs experiences with Azure DevOps or Github Actions or Gitlab or Jenkins
ā¢ IaC: Terraform(must), ARM
ā¢ Programming Language: Python (highly desireable), Shell Scripting, Java
ā¢ Must adhere to Agile / Scrum
ā¢ Qualified Candidate MUST have:
ā¢ Overall 3-5 years of experience in IT industry
ā¢ Should be an excellent communicator and ability to lead by example
ā¢ 3-5 years of experience working in Azure cloud platform
ā¢ Azure Active Directory, App registration, Identity and Access management (IAM), Management Groups and Subscriptions, Policies, Tagging, automation runbook, Replications, Multi-region deployments
ā¢ Hands-on implementation experience in Azure infrastructure Service offerings Such as Vnet, NSGs, UDRs, ASGs, Azure Firewall configurations, Peering, Hub and Spoke topology, Virtual Machines life cycle management etc.
ā¢ Hands-on implementation experience in Azure Platform Service offerings Such as API Management, API Gateway, App Service Environment, Storage Accounts, Key vault, Data Bricks, etc.
ā¢ Hands-on implementation experience in Azure Software Service offerings Such as SQL Managed instance, Logic Apps, Functions etc.
ā¢ Candidate with equivalent AWS services will be considered (AWS Beanstalk, API Gateway, AWS KMS, S3, VPC, VPC Private Enpoint, IAM Roles)
ā¢ Hands-on experience in coding, deploying
