Job Title: Azure DevOps Architect
Client: Tempus Technologies (Subsidiary of PNO Bank)
Duration: 12 Months Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
Rate: $80/hr (W2)
Location: [Remote]
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud infrastructure and DevOps strategies within a fintech payments environment.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Design end-to-end DevOps architecture and CI/CD strategy
ā¢ Define and implement Terraform-based IaC standards
ā¢ Architect scalable and secure solutions on Azure Cloud
ā¢ Lead DevOps transformation and cloud modernization initiatives
ā¢ Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and system resilience
ā¢ Define security, compliance, and governance best practices
ā¢ Collaborate with cross-functional and leadership teams
Required Skills
ā¢ 12+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering
ā¢ Strong expertise in Azure cloud architecture
ā¢ Deep experience with Terraform
ā¢ Expertise in GitHub CI/CD pipelines
ā¢ Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices
Mandatory Requirement
Must have experience working on integrated payment gateway platforms supporting ACH, Wires, Card transactions, and other electronic payment methods.
Preferred Skills
ā¢ Experience in payments/fintech platforms
ā¢ Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes
ā¢ Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor)
ā¢ Familiarity with banking systems and compliance
