We are looking for a Azure Developer to lead and support the migration of an existing web application to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform . This role combines hands-on development with cloud architecture, focusing on modernizing legacy systems, improving scalability, and integrating AI-driven capabilities. This role has a fully remote model associated , and the candidate can be based anywhere in Romania . Key Responsibilities Lead the migration of an existing application to Microsoft Azure, including planning, execution, and optimization Refactor and modernize backend systems using PHP (Laravel) and scalable cloud-native patterns Develop and maintain frontend applications using React.js (and/or Vue.js where applicable)Design and implement cloud architecture on Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Storage, etc.) Integrate AI/LLM services (e.g., Azure OpenAI or similar APIs) into application workflows Build and maintain APIs and microservices to support distributed systems Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions Ensure performance, security, and reliability of applications in a cloud environment Collaborate with DevOps and product teams to ensure smooth migration and rollout Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experience in full stack development Strong expertise in: PHP (Laravel) JavaScript (React.js, Vue.js, Node.js) MySQL or cloud-based database solutions Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure , including: Azure App Services / Web Apps Azure Functions Azure Storage / Blob Storage Azure SQL or managed databases Experience with application migration to cloud environments (lift-and-shift or refactoring) Experience integrating AI/LLM solutions into production systems Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices Workplace type : About NTT DATA NTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
