Job Title: Azure Data EngineerLocation: Remote Job Description:We are looking for a skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our data team and help build secure, scalable, and efficient data solutions in the Microsoft Azure environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure data services, data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and big data technologies.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, and Databricks.Build and manage scalable ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and store structured and unstructured data.Work with SQL, Python, and other tools to perform data transformation, integration, and quality checks.Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency in the Azure environment.Collaborate with data scientists, BI developers, and business analysts to deliver data solutions aligned with business needs.Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and version control using Azure DevOps.Ensure data governance, security, and compliance in all data engineering processes.Required Qualifications:Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.3+ years of experience in data engineering, with 1 2 years focused on Azure.Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Data Lake, Synapse, and Databricks.Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling techniques.Experience with CI/CD, version control (Git), and infrastructure-as-code is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Certifications (Optional):Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Azure FundamentalsEmployers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
