Azure Cloud Engineer
ECS is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to work remotely. ECS is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to join a growing Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and AI/ML team supporting DHS HQ. The Azure Cloud Engineer will support the modernization and re-architecture of a large, legacy system and will also design rapid Azure solutions. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with complex, mission-critical systems and will bring both technical depth in Azure services and adaptability to help shape the modernization journey. Key Responsibilities
Provide subject matter expertise using best practices for designing cloud solutions. Consult, develop proofs of concept, and advise on the best use of Azure services to solve current challenges.
Design and implement Azure-based solutions leveraging services such as Azure App Services, Serverless architecture, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Storage
Set up automation, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) with tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
Evaluate and select appropriate cloud services and technologies based on requirements and cost consideration to meet clients’ technical, security, and business needs
Research and propose solutions for Azure data transformation, data connections, operational frameworks, and application integration
Lead the cloud architecture design for Azure to meet clients’ technical, security, and business needs
Research and propose solutions for Azure data transformation, data connections, operational frameworks, and application integration
Provision, manage, and set up monitoring in Azure cloud services/systems (to include support with OS and application-level patching)
Salary Range: $130,000 – $140,000General Description of BenefitsQualifications
