Who You Are and What You'll Do: Capstone Integrated Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AWS Solution Architect with full-stack expertise to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of cloud-native applications. This individual will play a key role in defining the overall technical direction of our solutions, leveraging AWS cloud services, Angular (frontend), and Python (backend). The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on technical skills with solution-level architectural experience to ensure scalability, performance, and security of enterprise-grade applications Responsibilities: • Lead the end-to-end solution architecture of applications hosted in AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, and security. • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs and solution roadmaps. • Design and guide development of modern, responsive frontends using Angular and robust, scalable backends using Python FastAPI and SQLAlchemy. • Architect and implement API strategies, including RESTful and GraphQL services. • Define and implement cloud-native architectures, including serverless, container-based (ECS/EKS), or microservices-based solutions. • Design data storage and integration strategies (RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, Lambda, etc.). • Ensure application security best practices, including IAM roles, API Gateway, encryption, and compliance with standards. • Establish and enforce Azure DevOps Jobtrix/CD pipelines for streamlined deployments. • Mentor development teams on design patterns, coding standards, and AWS cloud adoption. • Provide thought leadership and stay updated on emerging technologies in cloud, frontend, and backend development • Provide thought leadership and advisory guidance on cloud adoption, migration planning, and workload onboarding to the landing zone. • Troubleshoot technical challenges and act as a subject matter expert for AWS platform services, security, networking, and compliance. Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience in software development and solution architecture, with at least 4+ years in AWS-focused architecture roles. • Strong proficiency in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation/Terraform, IAM). • Hands-on experience designing and developing frontends with Angular (latest versions). • Strong backend development skills with Python and related frameworks such as FastAPI. • Proven experience architecting end-to-end cloud-native solutions. • Solid knowledge of DevOps practices, Remotica/CD, and Infrastructure as Code. • Excellent understanding of microservices, REST, and event-driven architectures. • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Nice to Have: • Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, financial services, government). • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI, NIST, or FedRAMP. • Familiarity with DevOps practices, Skillnex/CD pipelines, and cloud-native application design. • Prior consulting experience with a top-tier cloud services provider or systems integrator. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent. • Experience with machine learning integration in AWS (SageMaker, Glue, Zenvora, EMR). • Experience in enterprise-scale application modernization and migration projects. • Familiarity with additional frontend frameworks (React, Vue) and backend tools (Node.js).
