Job title: AWS Gen AI consultant with OpenSearch Location: Remote Longterm Summary: We are seeking an AWS Specialist with hands-on experience in OpenSearch, Amazon Bedrock, and Generative AI (GenAI) chatbot deployment. The ideal candidate will architect, build, and optimize AI-powered applications leveraging AWS managed services and integrations with vector databases and knowledge bases. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage AWS OpenSearch Service clusters, including index creation, ingestion pipelines, and performance optimization. Build and integrate knowledge bases with Amazon Bedrock for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications. Develop and deploy GenAI chatbots using Amazon Bedrock foundational models, prompt engineering, and API integrations. Implement secure and scalable AWS architectures leveraging Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ECS/Fargate, IAM, and CloudFormation. Work with data engineers and ML practitioners to prepare structured and unstructured data for LLM-powered solutions. Enable logging, monitoring, and cost optimization for GenAI workloads using CloudWatch and AWS Cost Explorer. Collaborate cross-functionally with product and AI teams to define chatbot goals, training data pipelines, and user experience flows. Stay up to date on new AWS AI/ML services, foundation model updates, and Bedrock feature releases. Required Skills and Experience 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience, including IAM, VPC, Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, and S3. Proven expertise with OpenSearch configuration, scaling, and integration with application data pipelines. Strong understanding of LLM models and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures. Experience developing or deploying GenAI chatbots using Amazon Bedrock, Anthropic Claude, or similar models. Familiarity with vector embeddings, semantic search, and model fine-tuning. Proficiency in scripting with Python (e.g., boto3, LangChain, or AWS SDK). Understanding of AWS security, cost management, and automation best practices. Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Machine Learning Specialty, or Data Engineer certification. Experience with tools such as LangChain, Haystack, or LlamaIndex. Knowledge of CI/CD with AWS CodePipeline or GitHub Actions for GenAI deployments. Familiarity with serverless chatbot integrations via Amazon Lex, DynamoDB, or external APIs.
